Valmet Supplies Automation and Quality Management Solutions to Shandong Jin Tian He Paper 

Valmet is to supply automation for Shandong Jin Tian He Paper Co., Ltd.’s food grade folding boxboard project in China. The order includes a Valmet DNA Distributed Control System (DCS) with built-in Machine Condition Monitoring, a Valmet IQ Quality Control System (QCS), Machine Vision and a Coat Weight Profiler.

The order was included in Valmet’s orders received in the fourth quarter 2024. The value of the order will not be disclosed. The delivery will take place in the second quarter of 2025.

The new systems will provide comprehensive, high-quality production control for the customer’s food-grade folding boxboard (FBB) board machine. They will enhance the system’s digitalisation and intelligence, ensuring stable production operations and consistent final product quality.

Delivery’s technical information
The delivery includes a Valmet IQ Quality Control System (QCS) with scanners, IQ Dryness measurement, single-side moisture measurement, a Distributed Control System (DCS) with more than 10,000 IO points, a Condition Monitoring System, a Web Inspection System, a Web Monitoring System and a Coat Weight Profiler system.
